International students intending to study in Australia, must apply for the Student VISA Sub Class 500, regardless of their course, university or tuition fees. The VISA is granted for the duration of the study period.

Work Opportunity
Part Time Work
While on a Study permit, you may work part-time along with your studies. Part-time jobs may be sought on-campus, in retails or hospitality, tutoring or researching and in offices or doing freelance work. As per the latest update, from 1 Jul, 2023 onwards, you will be permitted to work 48 hours every 2 weeks as part-time.
Post-Study Work
On completing a full-time degree program from an Australian University, you may get a VISA extension to work in Australia as Post-Study Work Permit. Depending on the course you’ve completed, the duration of the post-study work permit may vary.
- After Completing Bachelors Course – 2 to 4 years
